1. Cash (COD)

What is COD?

COD (Cash on Delivery) means the customer pays in cash when they receive the order – either on delivery or when collecting it at the store.

For customers, COD is convenient: they receive the order in person and can check it before paying.

How it works

COD works for both delivery and in-store orders:

  • Delivery: customer orders → chooses COD → receives the order → pays the driver in cash.

  • In store: customer orders on the E-Shop → chooses COD → collects at the store → pays cash at the counter.

Risks to watch

  • Delivery orders: customers may refuse or not be available, leading to returns and extra costs.

  • Pickup orders: customers may order and not show up.

  • Reconciliation: make sure the cash actually collected matches the order value.

  • Payment status: only mark a COD order as paid after you've actually received the money.

2. ZaloPay payment gateway

🇻🇳 Vietnam only.

ZaloPay is an online payment platform (e-wallet) for the E-Shop. ZaloPay partners with Visa, Mastercard and 39 local banks for interbank transfers, payments and more.

For successful transactions, ZaloPay settles on a T+1 cycle to the bank account you registered with ZaloPay. For example, transactions on Monday are paid on Tuesday; transactions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are paid the following Monday.

To connect ZaloPay, go to Settings → Integrations → ZaloPay Gateway (see "General settings").
