1. Set up before selling
Before using the POS, complete the minimum setup in the Admin dashboard (merchant.heypeko.com): turn on service types and payment methods, connect printers, etc. – otherwise you can't create orders.
See "POS settings" and the printer connection guides for details.
2. Taking orders on the POS
2.1 Log in and open a shift
Step 1: Open the POS app and log in with the Brand code plus the staff member's phone number or PIN. Find your Brand code in the Admin dashboard → Settings → Brand.
Step 2: Choose the shop for the shift.
Step 3: Open the shift. You're asked to enter the opening cash – enter it and tap Confirm.
If you log in again during a shift, the POS asks whether to Start a new shift (closes the old shift and opens a new one) or Continue the previous shift.
Note: once a new shift opens, revenue is settled for the old shift and starts from zero for the new one.
2.2 Create an order
Step 1: Choose the service type. At the top right, choose Dine-in, Take away or Delivery. For Dine-in, tap Select table; for Take away, enter the table tag number at payment.
Step 2: Choose items. Pick a category in the bottom bar (COMBO and your menu categories) or search by name. Tap + to quickly add an item in the displayed size, or tap the item's image to choose size and quantity, then tap Add. In the cart on the right, use − / + to change quantity and the bin to remove an item.
Sell combos: open the COMBO tab at the start of the category bar, tap a combo, choose its items and add it to the order. Combos are created in the Admin dashboard → Products → Combos (see "Menu setup"); if you have none, this tab is empty.
Quick-create an item (not on the menu) – when you need to sell something right away:
Tap Quick create (lightning icon) next to the search box.
Enter the item name and unit price (required), and a category if needed.
Apply tax if needed: enter the %, and choose whether tax is added on top or included in the price.
Tap Confirm to add it to the current order.
Items that need images, sizes, toppings or online ordering should be created fully in the Admin dashboard → Products → Items.
Step 3: Add a member to earn points (optional). Tap Member, search by phone, tap + to create a new member, or scan the customer's code. Tier privileges apply automatically once the member is selected.
Step 4: Apply a discount (optional). Tap Discount: choose a category discount (multiple allowed) or a whole-order discount (only one), enter/scan a voucher code, or tap Create discount for a quick discount.
Step 5: Extra fees and guest count (optional). Tap Extra fee to apply surcharges created in the Admin dashboard; fees set to auto-apply are added based on the service type. Tap Guests to enter the number of guests.
Step 6: Save to table or pay. For Dine-in, tap Save to table to send items to the kitchen and hold the order; take payment when the customer leaves. For Take away, tap Pay, enter the tag number and confirm.
Clear order (start again): if the customer changes their mind or items were added by mistake, tap Clear order at the bottom right and confirm to remove everything, or go back to keep it. To remove just one item, tap the bin next to it or use − to reduce quantity. Orders already saved to a table or paid are cancelled as described in "Pay later at the table and cancelling orders".
Step 7: Choose the payment method. Choose a method on the left (Cash, QR, e-wallets, Bank transfer, Credit card, Other…). For cash, enter the amount given or tap a quick amount; the summary shows amount given, amount due and change. Tap PAY to finish.
Split payment: if the customer pays with several methods, tap Split payment, choose the number of parts, set the method and amount for each, and tap Pay on each line.
3. Review orders, reprint receipts and void (refund)
Tap the first icon in the top bar to open POS orders. Serving holds unpaid orders; Completed holds paid orders. Filter by Dine-in / Take away / Delivery, search by order code or pick a date.
Tap a completed order to see its details. You can:
Issue VAT invoice: issue an e-invoice for the order 🇻🇳 Vietnam only.
Reprint receipt.
Void: for orders that need adjusting or refunding (change or remove items). The POS reopens the order in edit mode; edit the items, tap Confirm void, check the refund amount and confirm. Tap Cancel edit to leave without changes.

4. Top up a prepaid wallet
On the POS: Member → find and select the customer → Top up → choose or enter the amount → Send confirmation. See "Payment methods on the E-Shop" for details with screenshots.
5. LOOP Smart POS on mobile
The mobile version of LOOP Smart POS gives staff maximum flexibility while serving. With an interface built for phone screens, staff can take orders at the table, receive orders from the PEKO customer app and handle requests without going back to the counter – especially useful at peak times, when speed and accuracy make the difference.
Some tasks still work best on the POS terminal – such as adding points for customers, printing receipts and complex operations. The POS has dedicated hardware and a bigger screen, making these faster, more stable and better synced with other devices in the store.
Mobile suits quick, on-the-move tasks in the service area.
POS is best for tasks that need accuracy, syncing and connected hardware.
Using both together keeps service fast at the table and operations stable at the counter.
Install on your phone
The phone version is available on iOS (App Store); the Android phone version is in development. Find the download links in the POS → Menu → Settings → Download app, or see "What is POS? Install the LOOP POS app". Log in with the Brand code and staff account, just like on the POS.
