Summary

How to take orders and print receipts on LOOP Smart POS, reprint a receipt, void (refund) an order, and print a payment QR code with the amount filled in. For step-by-step POS screenshots, see "Using LOOP Smart POS".

1. Take an order and print the receipt

  1. On the order screen, select the items and choose the service type: Dine-in, Take away or Delivery.

  2. Dine-in: choose a table and tap Save to table; take payment when the customer leaves. Take away: tap Pay, enter the table tag number and confirm.

  3. On the payment screen, choose a payment method and tap PAY. Printers set to "Print receipt on payment by default" print the receipt automatically.

  4. Reprint a receipt: tap the POS orders icon (first icon in the top bar) → Completed → select the order → Reprint receipt.

2. Void an order (refund)

  1. Open POS orders → Completed and select the order.

  2. Tap Void. The order reopens in edit mode – void the whole receipt or just some items (remove items, change quantities).

  3. Tap Confirm void, choose a reason and confirm returning stock (if any).

  4. On the confirmation screen, check the refund amount and confirm.

  5. On the manual refund screen, choose how to refund the customer and confirm.

Note: tap Cancel edit if you opened void mode by mistake and don't want to change the order.

3. Print a payment QR code

When customers pay by bank transfer, they have to type the amount themselves – easy to get wrong, causing shortfalls and reconciliation headaches. Print payment QR prints a slip with a QR code that already contains the exact order amount; the customer just scans and confirms.

  • Setup: in the Admin dashboard, go to POS → Printers, choose the shop, edit the receipt printer, tick Print payment QR and click Save.

  • Use: when a customer pays by QR, tap Print payment QR on the POS. The printer prints the slip and the customer scans it to pay.

  • Check: on the POS, go to Menu → Settings → Printers to see which printer has the "Print payment QR" template.
