Summary

Pay later (customers pay after they finish) applies to Dine-in orders: the cashier saves the order to a table, then uses the table to move, split, merge, cancel or pay the order. Turn on Pay later in the Admin dashboard → POS → POS settings → Pay later.

1. Save an order to a table (pay later)

  1. On the order screen, choose Dine-in, tap Select table and pick the customer's table.

  2. Add the items and tap Save to table. The items are sent to the kitchen and the order stays in serving status.

  3. To add more items: select the same table, add items and tap Save to table again.

2. Actions on an occupied table

Open the table from Table management (table icon in the top bar) or POS orders → Serving, then select the table's order. You can:

  • Move order: move the order to another table.

  • Split order: move some items to a new order to pay separately.

  • Merge tables: combine several tables' orders into one.

  • Pay: when the customer leaves, tap Pay and choose a payment method.

3. Cancel an order

  • Unpaid order: open the table's order, tap Cancel order and enter a reason.

  • Paid order: go to POS orders → Completed → select the order → Void → remove all items or individual items → Confirm void → choose a reason and confirm the refund.

Note: the number of cancelled and voided orders in a shift is shown in Menu → Shift management.
